Patricia is an innovative and energetic leader who has over 25 years experience in business ownership and financial management. She holds a Masters in Public Administration and Forensic Accounting. She has over 15 years working with federal government grants and contracts including writing, reviewing and performing research. As grant coordinator she successfully led the local county commission through multiple successful grant audits. She successfully managed and helped grow the research enterprise at the WVU School of Public Health from 4 million to over 12 million in a 7 year time frame, helped a small business grow from 62,000 a year to 1.2 million in a 2 year time period and has helped businesses with start-up, forecasting and strategic planning for growth. She has also helped businesses navigate the complex dynamics of working with family.
She has extensive experience with budget development, policy development, and the creation of processes and procedures for various types and levels of business. Creating and implementing audit review programs and processes, and developing and managing the implementation of standard operating procedures for various businesses has given her an inside look at how companies can be impacted when they lack appropriate systems and structures. Thus leading to numerous written handbooks for human resources, financial processes and safety programs.
In addition, Patricia has been an volunteer coordinator and managed over 45 volunteers for outreach programs and serves on the board of various non profit organizations.
