Patricia Porter is the Founder, President, and Chairman of the Board for Patricia McDade, Inc., a consulting and professional services firm dedicated to strengthening organizations through financial stewardship, grant management, compliance, organizational strategy, and executive advisory services.

With more than three decades of experience in government, nonprofit, higher education, and private industry, Patricia has built a career helping organizations successfully secure, manage, and protect public funding. Throughout her career she has worked with federal, state, local, and private funding sources, overseeing every phase of the grant lifecycle—from strategic planning and proposal development to financial management, compliance monitoring, risk assessment, and audit resolution.

Patricia has managed billions of dollars in grant-funded programs, assisted organizations in securing more than one billion dollars in funding opportunities, and provided technical assistance across virtually every major federal granting agency. Her expertise includes federal regulations, Uniform Guidance, internal controls, forensic accounting, fraud risk management, Single Audit preparation, financial policy development, procurement compliance, subrecipient monitoring, and organizational governance.

As a Certified Fraud Examiner and forensic accountant, Patricia specializes in helping organizations identify operational weaknesses before they become audit findings. Her practical, systems-based approach enables clients to build sustainable compliance programs while improving operational efficiency and accountability.
